As noted by Paul Keesler in his article, "The Much Maligned Mr. Greene," some information in this book has been superseded by later research or was provided incorrectly by local sources.]

Striking bronze statue of Spanish-American war veteran. Erected in honor of the American soldiers and sailors from Utica, who served in the Spanish-American war (1898). It stands at the junction of the Parkway and Oneida streets.
