As noted by Paul Keesler in his article, "The Much Maligned Mr. Greene," some information in this book has been superseded by later research or was provided incorrectly by local sources.]

Map: The Mohawk River, Its Streams and Watershed.

The names of its first and second class affluents are given to aid the reader in locating the different streams and Regions of the Watershed. Note the map of the six Mohawk Valley counties on page 35. (Editorial note: Apparently a typo, as the map is actually on page 15.) Labels include Delta Reservoir, Hinckley Reservoir, Honnedaga Lake, Jerseyfield Lake, Black Creek, West Canada Creek, East Canada Creek, Caroga Creek, Canada Lakes, Caroga Lakes, Peck Pond, Big Sprite Creek, Schoharie Creek, Cobleskill Creek, Cohoes Falls.
