Photo: The Fayant House
Sir George Clarke, Lieutenant-Governor of the Province of New York, built a summer house on this site in 1738, the cellar of which is a part of this home. Built by Col. Robert Crouse and later owned by the Wagner and Fayant families. Now the property of Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Fayant.
