As noted by Paul Keesler in his article, "The Much Maligned Mr. Greene," some information in this book has been superseded by later research or was provided incorrectly by local sources.]

Canajoharie School

A fine stone school built in 1893, on the site of the old Canajoharie Academy building where Susan B. Anthony was preceptress at the time she became interested in women's rights, and from which she went in 1850 to join Elizabeth Cady Stanton in their world-famous fight for women's suffrage.
