Frank E. Dolan, senior member of the firm of Dolan & Conboy in Utica, has here been engaged in the real estate and insurance business during the past fifteen years and has won well merited success in this field. His birth occurred in Oneonta, Otsego county, New York, on the 21st of December, 1883.

Mr. Dolan was educated in the public schools of Utica and Oneonta and the Oneonta Normal School. He spent the years 1901 and 1902 in the employ of the General Electric Company in Schenectady, after which he returned to Utica, where he continued in the service of the Utica Pipe Foundry Company as bookkeeper and paymaster for six years. On the expiration of that period, in 1909, he embarked in business on his own account in the field of real estate and insurance. He is now associated with Edward C. Conboy under the firm name of Dolan & Conboy, and the partners have made for themselves a most creditable position in realty and insurance circles in Utica. They have negotiated many important realty transfers and the clientage of the firm is extensive.

Mr. Dolan is married and has three children. He is a democrat in politics and takes an active interest in public affairs. He is secretary and treasurer of the Calvary Cemetery Association and also trustee of St. Agnes church, while fraternally he is identified with the Knights of Columbus and the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks.
