J. Albert Baechle is a prominent factor in real estate circles of Utica as president of A. J. Baechle & Sons, Incorporated, thus continuing a business which was established by his father thirty-eight years ago. Utica accounts him one of her enterprising and successful young native sons, for it was in this city that his birth occurred on the 11th of November, 1888, his parents being Albert J. and Rosa F. Baechle. The father, who embarked in the real estate business in Utica in 1886, continued active in that field of activity to the time of his death in 1920 and gained a gratifying measure of success therein. He possessed thorough knowledge of property values and by close application, unflagging energy and the utmost reliability developed a business of large and profitable proportions.
In his youth J. Albert Baechle attended the grade and high schools of his native city and also pursued a course of study in the Utica Business Institute. He was seventeen years of age when in 1905 he became associated with his father in the real estate business which has claimed his time and attention continuously since and which is still conducted under the name of A. J. Baechle & Sons, Incorporated. J. Albert Baechle is the president of the corporation, while his brother, Carl A. Baechle, who became identified with the business in 1917 or 1918, occupies the dual position of secretary and treasurer. They enjoy a high-class clientele and have established themselves among the leading realtors of Utica. The firm of A. J. Baechle & Sons has membership in the Utica Real Estate Board, the New York State Association of Real Estate Boards, the National Association of Real Estate Boards and the Insurance Federation of the State of New York.
J. A. Baechle belongs to the Knights of Columbus, the Knights of St. George, St. Aloysius Young Men's Society and the Kiwanis Club. His fraternal connections and business activities have brought him a wide acquaintance in his native city, and throughout the community he is spoken of in terms of the highest regard.
