D. 1861, as taken from the Muster-in Rolls on file in the Adjutant General's Office, S. N. Y., (Albany, N. Y.: Comstock & Cassidy, Printers, 1864). Muster Roll of Recruits for H Company in the 3d Regiment of New York Volunteers, commanded by Colonel ———, called into the service of the United States by the President of the United States, from the 16th day of September, 1861, (date of this muster) for the term of two (2) years, unless sooner discharged.
